Mindfulness Beyond MBSAT: Finding the Right Fit for You
At the MBSAT Foundation, we recognize the vital role of
mindfulness in navigating a constantly changing world.
While our program is designed for strategic awareness and
decision-making, it may not meet everyone’s needs.
Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is ideal for
individuals experiencing chronic stress or anxiety. For
depressive moods, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy
(MBCT) is a highly recommended alternative. Additionally,
programs like Search Inside Yourself (a 2-day course) are
convenient for those with time constraints. The Mind and
Life Institute offers a spiritual and scientifically oriented
approach. Moreover, accredited mindfulness teachers, such
as those registered with the Mindfulness Swiss Association,
can guide you toward a more personalized solution.
Depending on your needs, affordable digital mindfulness
apps like Calm ($60/month) or Headspace ($60/month)
can also be beneficial. You can also be introduced to
mindfulness through traditional executive education
programs at prestigious business schools focused on executive leadership, which usually emphasize content over mindfulness practice. These courses typically span 4 to 5 days, costing between $ 2500 and $10,000.

We encourage you to explore these programs. They might be a better fit than MBSAT. Mindfulness is a powerful tool for everyone, and finding the right program can significantly enhance your well-being.
Important Note:
MBSAT is most effective when participants commit to at least 15 minutes of daily practice. This can be done during work breaks, in the morning, or before bed. Consistent practice creates the internal conditions necessary for improving decision-making skills. While MBSAT cannot guarantee that every decision will be effective, it increases the probability of making skillful decisions by enhancing the state of the BETA and META, the readiness to update beliefs, and the self-regulation of automatic reactions, thus improving cognitive, emotional, and behavioral capacities, as shown in a two-year research validation study.
